YADAGIRIGUTTA TEMPLE
Sri Yadagirigutta is a census town in Nalgonda district in the Indian state of A.P.In Tretayugam lived a sage by the name of Yadarishi, son of the great sage and Rishyasrunga Devi did penance in a cave with the blessings of Anjaneya (Hanuman) of this hill between Bhongir (Bhuvanagiri) and Raigiri Pleased with his deep devotion, Lord Narasimha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu appeared before him in five different forms as Jwala, Yogananda, Gandabherunda, Ugra and Lakshminarasimha. This place is characterized by a temple located at the foot of the hill Yadagiri, and is located about 500 meters from the present temple. Each year, Sri Swamy vari Brahmothsavams take place during the months of Palgunam ie from Shudha Vidiya of Dwadasi of (11) days (usually in Febrauary and March).
In the cultural programs as Brahmothsavams Harikathas Bajans, Vocal and recites, Upanyasams, Natyams Bharata and dramas will be organized with well known artists and scholars from different places.
The programs can also be arranged at the time of Narasimha Jayanthi (which comes in the month of Vaishakha). Shudha Chathurdashi. ie can Parayanams diverse as Nalayana prabhandhams, parushams Ramayan, Maha Bharat, Bhagawath Gita, Mahathyam Kshetra, etc. can be arranged at the time of Brahmothsavams and Jayanthi. The Peethadhipathis and Mathadhipathis who visit this temple also taking into account their Pravachanams devotees.
