KOMARAM BHEEM
The province of Telangana in Andhra Pradesh used to be part of diminions called Nizams of Hyderabad state. It was ruled by the Nawabs of Asifjahi dynasty. The princely state was absorbed into the Indian Union after the police action in 1948. Seventh Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan not combine their state in the Union of India after India gained independence, preferring to remain independent. Prince of Hyderabad State had two distinct regions called Marathwada and Telangana. Telangana areas were areas comprising the Telugu-speaking districts of Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Medak, Nalgonda, Khammammet (now called Khammam), Mahboob Nagar, and Atraf Warnagal Balda (Around the city of Hyderabad). Marathwada region consisted of districts, Gulbarga, Raichur, Bidar, Aurangabad, Osmanabad, Bid, Parbhani and Nanded. In 1956, the states were reorganized and merged with the Telangana state in Andhra Pradesh and Andhra was formed. The demand for separate Telangana state has been going since 1956 and erupted with great force in 1969 and recently again. Many precious lives have been lost in the turmoil of the police and firing, suicide. The Telanagana people are clamoring for self-government free from the domination of Andhra leaders alleged. The fight is going on and probably never quiet area until it materializes Telangana.

The first was Chin khilij Qamruddin Nizam Khan Asaf Jah and he was a subedar Deccan the Mughal emperor Shah Mohammed (Rangeela) and literally was an independent ruler. The sixth was Nizam Mir Mahboob Ali Khan commonly known as a benevolent ruler. However, under the rule of Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan 7, the Hindu population, suffered much. Taxes were serious and exploitation of the masses was very high. There were systematic methods to eradicate the Hindu names in Telangana and many districts were renamed them the Islamic identity. Indur was named Nizamabad while Palamoor was named Mahboob Nagar. Metuku became Medak. Elagandla which was the capital of the district was abandoned and was taken to a place near Karimnagar. Bhuvanagiri a hill fort which is about 40 kilometers from Hyderabad was renamed Bhongir. Mahboobabad Manukota was renamed. All village names that end with Padu moved to Pahad. Hyderabad state was also declared as an Islamic state. Hindu shrines were also allegedly destroyed and new mosques were built. The women were exploited and dishonored. Thus, the situation was serious.
Adilabad district is located in the extreme north of the border with the state of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. These are bound mountain with deep forests and thick. In the early days, the area was under the sovereignty of the Gond kings of Chanda (Chadrapur) and Ballalpur. The tribal people, as Gonds are a great strength. The district is reversed in most of the aspects.Agriculture is poor. During the time of Nizam, the situation was worse and the people suffered greatly. Taxes of the Nizam of the United Nations was bearable. Nizam local zamindars mercilessly suppressed and exploited tribes. Komaram Bheem was born in the region of Adilabad district Asifabad a Gond family and raised in the tribal areas and had no contact with the outside world and education. As he grew, he realized the plight of his people and see the atrocities of the tribes of the Nizams and police officials. Decided to resist repression. He was inspired largely by the sacrifices of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and Alluri Sita Rama Raju in the tribal areas of Andhra region. Decided to begin the battle against the oppressive rule of the Nizam. Gond organized the rebellion and the war against the police gurellia Nizams. He had no resources and using primitive weapons, such as muzzle loaders, spears, lances, bows and arrows and swords. Local Talukdar Abdul Sattar could not control the situation and decided to attack police Bheem with great force. With ninety well-armed police raided the hideout of Bheem on October 27, 1940 and the rebels under the leadership of Bheem responded with full force. There was a strong fight in the operation Komaram Bheem became a martyr and sacrificed their lives for the liberation of people from an oppressive regime. The Nizam also lost power in 1948 after the police action and people were freed from state regulation Asifjahi cruel.
Komaram Bheem has become a deity Gond people and has become an icon for Telangana liberation movement. Its name literally disappeared into the history and most people in the state were not aware of him and his sacrifice. His death anniversary is celebrated in the district of Adilabad in Jodeghat (krameri Mandal) near their home by Naxalite militants and alleged that the Government has played down the activity. With the increase of the passions in the region of Telangana, memory has been revived Komaram Bheem and his statue was recently erected in the retaining wall of the tank in Hyderabad. During the regime of NT Rama Rao scores of statues of prominent leaders and achievers in various fields was erected in the tank dam. However, in recent years millions of episodes of Telangana agitation March, the statues of many stalwarts of Andhra were destroyed, defaced and thrown down at Hussein Sagar Lake. It was the result of passion and increased feelings of calm the locals. Movies on the hero's life have also been produced in Telugu and released. A statue of the martyr Komaram Bheem was installed on the retaining wall of the tank. Long live his memory.
